Diff Hunter does not require an account, does not collect personal identifiers (such as your name, email, phone number, or physical address), does not track your location, and never sells your data or shares it with advertising data brokers.

We only collect anonymous technical and gameplay data to ensure the game works reliably and to help us design more engaging puzzles:

Gameplay Statistics: Levels played, puzzle completion times, victory/loss counts, hint usage, and chosen category themes (e.g., Photorealistic vs. Abstract).
Device Diagnostics: Device type, screen resolution, operating system version, and general crash diagnostics.
Anonymous Identifier: An auto-generated random unique string stored locally on your device to keep track of your high scores, level unlocks, and optional leaderboard entries.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Diff Hunter strictly avoids collecting sensitive or personal data:

No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or social media profiles.
No precise or approximate GPS location data.
No camera, microphone, or photo library access.
No financial or payment card details.
No advertising tracking identifiers (IDFA) or cross-app tracking.

3. Third-Party Analytics & Infrastructure

The App uses trusted industry-standard infrastructure services to provide gameplay functionality and telemetry:

Mixpanel: Used for aggregate product analytics to understand game retention, session duration, and puzzle difficulty balance. Data sent to Mixpanel is pseudonymized and contains no personal identity.
Firebase (Google LLC): Used for optional cloud synchronization of high scores and leaderboard rankings via anonymous authentication.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Diff Hunter is designed for all ages (rated 4+). We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Because our services operate without collecting personal identifiers, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international privacy regulations.

5. Data Storage & Player Controls

Your game settings, audio preferences, and level completion records are saved locally on your device storage. You can reset your local progress at any time by clearing the application data in your device settings or reinstalling the app.
